I have had pets all my life, dogs, cats, parakeets​, gerbils, hamsters, calves, bunnies, and chickens. (chickens were pets, not dinner). I have house sat for former employers, taken care of their horses, and old dogs with cancer. The unconditional love a pet gives, whether it be a horse taking its head and hugging you for saving his dad when you called the vet (this actually happened), a cat meowing thanking you for dinner, or a dog so excited to see you they fall over themselves, there's nothing like it. I love animals, and they love me. I'll love them like they're mine. Your pet will be loved, fed, medications if needed, and pooped from playing. They won't be lonely while you're away from them.
