* The first and most important requirement is that your dog is friendly towards children and other dogs, has no history of aggression or destructive behaviors like chewing furniture, etc., and does not bark excessively. * Next is that your dog is housebroken and up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm and flea & tick treatments (and of course free of any parasites or contagious condition). * I'd love to know your dog's feeding schedule, normal routine, favorite toys and activities. * We treat our pup guests just as we do our own dog. We are in close contact, giving lots of hugs and scratches. Because they are on our sofa and beds (if allowed at home), please bring your dog clean and as fresh-smelling as a dog can be:) * I have plenty of toys and balls, but feel free to bring a favorite from home if you like. Sometimes having a familiar blanket or stuffed animal can be a comfort while you are away. * A brief meet and greet is required prior to overnight stays to ensure a positive experience for everyone. I will first meet you and your dog in the cul de sac in front of my home. Then I will bring my dog (Chip) to introduce the dogs. We may go for a short walk to allow them to get acquainted. During this time you can tell me all about your dog and ask any questions you like! **Please note that same day/last minute requests can only be considered for existing clients (dogs who have already stayed,) as a meet and greet is required before all overnight stays.

Our days are filled with leisurely walks around the pond, supervised play time and fresh air in the yard, and whatever activities your dog enjoys, like playing fetch, belly rubs, or cuddling on the couch.
