Pet care experience
More than one person has said to me "Lisa, when I die, I hope I come back as a dog who belongs to someone like you." Hi, I'm Lisa, I'm 54 years old and I live in the Barnes / Mortlake area of London with my husband. We just lost our magnificent Standard Poodle of 12 years - she passed away this October 2023. I am not ready to adopt a new dog just yet but I would love to shower YOURS with all the love and attention I gave to mine. I have a comfy Dog-Chaise Longue for your beast in the living room (see photo). If your pup prefers to lounge on the sofa then they will feel happy and safe there as well. I like to leave the back door open during the day, as much as weather permits, so a dog can wander in and out to give a bark at squirrels in the fenced back garden if they feel like it. I work from home so your dog will have plenty of companionship 7 days a week. I do my best to get in 10K steps every day, rain or shine, so your dog will have as many walks as its heart desires. I usually walk along the Thames Path (just a few houses down the street from my house) or up the road to Richmond Park. Sometimes my beast and I walked these paths wearing matching hats, see photo. I know how hard it is to leave your dog with someone -- I take this responsibility very seriously, and consider it my opportunity to do something good in the world by making your noble dog happy while you're away. Please email me to schedule an introduction here at my home, and I look forward to meeting you.
Reviews
We were very happy to leave our precious pampered labradoodle with Lisa. She took great care of him - sending us lots of much appreciated updates- photos and videos. You should feel confident leaving your fur babies in Lisa’s safe hands.
Lisa is amazing. She really quickly got to understand our Labrador and that’s based on experience of previously owning and working with larger dogs. Lisa gave us regular updates and asked sensible questions during the booking. Lisa is highly recommended and her passion for dog happiness shines through. This translates into her attention to detail and efforts to ensure our dog was very well looked after. 5 stars!
I cannot recommend Lisa highly enough. She was so kind and loving to my two little dogs. She kept me in the loop on how they were doing and showered them with affection. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Lisa was an amazing sitter for our dog Zeke! She really took the time to understand his needs and he had loads of fun during his stay! Would 100% recommend booking Lisa if you'd like your dog to be well cared for while you're away. :)

I have a fenced back garden. I like to leave back door open as much as weather permits. Dogs rule. They can relax anywhere they see fit. Dogs are allowed on the bed and sofa here, unless you have protocols you wish me to gently enforce.

Information Lisa B. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog come when called? Do they sit? lie down? stay? Do you walk them on your left side? Can your dog be left alone for 30 - 45 minutes while I run to the grocery store or post office?
A typical day
Playing ball down the street at Jubilee Gardens is a daily outing, as well as longer walks down the Thames path or in Richmond Park. I also like to hide treats around the house in order to play "find the treat".

My first thought every morning is about your dog. Open the back door so they can sniff around while I make tea/coffe, then off we go for the morning walk. I will work a couple of hours then head to the Thames Path around 11:30 or noon to get in my steps --taking your dog with me. The rest of the afternoon consists of working at my desk, then walks to stretch everyone's legs, maybe throw the ball at Jubilee Gardens. My days have revolved around my dog for the past 12 years. Yours will receive all the attention and exercise it desires.
