Pet care experience
I have had pets all my life. I have always care of my pets and others. I now live in Isle of Palms and have two retrievers, and a fish tank full of cichlids. I constantly watch our neighbors dogs and cats when they travel and have a passion for pets! Please let me watch your loved ones. You will not be disappointed! I am a retired Winn Dixie store manager where I worked for 20 years. I now am a full-time homemaker and mother of a teenage daughter. I am basically available most days. and nights for drop-in visits. I am available to take your pets out multiple times per day, as well as take them for short walks. I have also been able to provide pets pool time when that is requested and the owners have a pool where their pets are allowed. I currently live on a canal on the Intracoastal Waterway, and have had to rescue pets that have fallen into the canal, so I am extra vigilant in these scenarios. We also have a pond near our home where alligators have been spotted, so I am always on the lookout for these guys as well!

Lisa was fabulous! It was so comforting knowing my senior kitty was so well taken care of and looked after while I was away for the holiday week! She went above and beyond from emptying litter (when I hadn’t even asked this of her) and even picked up a new box of litter since I ran out unexpectedly! What a huge relief to have someone there and looking after things like that. She sent tons of pictures and gave her lots of love while I was gone! I greatly appreciate Lisa, relieving the stress of leaving my fur baby at home while I traveled!

Lisa B. would be a great dog sitter for Rover. She loves dogs and treats my dog as if it were own. She lets the dogs swim in the pool and they take the dogs for boat rides often.she has two great dogs and it would be like Dog camp for any pet that is left with her. Lisa is a very knowledgeable and experienced pet owner. She truly loves animals and is gentle, loving, and kind. She is responsible and I would trust her with any of my pets. She will go above and beyond to make sure that not only is an animal cared for, but that it is happy!

If there is any medications that the dog needs to take, please let me know the details. I had a dog with diabetes in the past and had to give her injections twice a day. I have also had dogs with other issues that required oral medication. I usually would use a piece of cheese to get them to eat the medication, but am not against having to force feed them if there is not a better option. If the dog has a tendency to try and escape the yard, this is important to know as well. Lastly, if there are neighboring dogs that are territorial or intimidating, this information would also be helpful so we can avoid any unpleasant meet-ups.
A typical day
I like to play mostly with the dogs in the back yard. I throw the ball for them, and play with them with thier special toys. Some dogs like to play in the pool and I have done this on occasion as well. For large dogs, I am not able to take them for walks as they can over-power me and I have a bad back, however I am able to care for them in their own yard.
