An animal lover since a young age, I've always taken pet ownership very seriously. Fish, hedgehogs, lizards, dogs, cats, etc. have always been a part of my life. I was the type of kid who unknowingly encourages their parents to do dishonest things like "replace" the goldfish in order to avoid the child's reaction. Currently, I have 3 longhaired dachshunds. On the weekends you'll usually find us out at Point Isabel or in the large backyard. You'll also find us working on training and grooming routines- we've even taught some of our visitors to tolerate toothbrushing! You may also find me hiding treats in the backyard and sending the doxies to sniff out something delicious. We'd love to meet your pup and welcome them to our family while you're away whether for the day, night, or weekend. Our dogs are friendly and pretty tolerant of most dogs and people. We've found that we can't accept dogs with food aggression or who like to hump excessively.
