While raising my children, we cared for many different animals from Dogs, Cats, Reptiles, Sheep, Pigs and other livestock. In those 30+ years of raising animals, I've seen a lot and have been there to give the best care possible. Now that my kids are grown and I have the luxury of working from home, it is a blessing for me to have the ability to watch my own as well as other people's pets. A typical day in my house would be a morning walk around the neighborhood and to the awesome park that is one block away. From there its sunning in the backyard or chilling out on the cool floors inside. My home has many different pillows and rugs for the animals to make themselves comfortable. Usually there is soft music or TV programming playing in the background; however, I do like to rock out while cleaning or working on side projects. I'm known to be OCD in my cleaning so expect a clean environment always : ) Usually in bed by 10ish and the animals are welcome to sleep in the bedroom so everyone is comfortable and at peace in my home. Since COVID, I've been doing many more home projects keeping my availability to watch pets more so than not. Nevertheless, there are a few weeks out of the year I go on trips to ski, find adventure and just get away. My yard is fenced and the animals are allowed inside and can have separation if needed. There is also a crate that the animals can go in and rest as I keep an open door for them. Sometimes, while watering, the animals like to get a little wet and so we have fun with the hose and then dry off before going inside. There a re pillows and rugs throughout my home for the animals to rest on. The house is climate controlled and very comfortable in all seasons. Last but not least, the neighborhood is quit, friendly and a gem in the City of Clovis.
