Pet care experience
I began working in the veterinary field in 2007 and instantly fell in love with it. I took off for 4 years in 2013 to become a stay at home mom, but went right back to it in 2017. During my time off I spent some time working with a professional dog trainer and learned a lot from him. We have helped foster several pets as well, dogs AND cats. I have done some pet sitting, but not near as much as I’d like and now that my kids are a little older and more self sufficient I’d love to do more.

Lisa is TOP NOTCH when it comes to pet care! She cared for our babies like they were her own and went above and beyond with handling them with their incredibly different personalities. I live on 5 acres, but have a small area fenced off area for the dogs to go potty. I have two dogs, one being a Labrador and the other being a golden retriever mix, that are very friendly (with people and other dogs) and also are very spoiled. We have 2 human kiddos that enjoy spending time with the doggies and cats too, so your pet will never be lonely. I can do meal feedings and can take instruction on anything specific your pet might need ie medications or a special diet.

A typical day
I love to play and help stimulate them, but also appreciate the Netflix and chill moments as well. We can explore the park down the road or just play fetch in the yard.

Availability
I currently work 4 days per week, but am off on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday. Leaving plenty of time for me to do drop ins or walks if needed.
