Pet care experience
I've always had dogs in my life and my parents made sure that our dogs were our responsibility. I took my dogs to 4-H training as a kid and then showed them when I was a teenager. During college, I helped teach obedience and agility training. I've pet sat/dog walked for all shapes and sizes over the years. From teacup papillion to great pyrenees, puppies having to go out every two hours and old dogs needing medication. I love to go for long walks and have always enjoyed taking my friends dogs out for a stroll. I am reliable, confident and just plain love dogs.

Lisa is wonderful! We would not have made it through our dog, Finley’s first 6 months without her! She took him for walks, taught him tricks, helped us stay constant with out training even when we had to be at work, and is overall the reason why he was able to house trained so well. She went above and beyond with our dog and any dog family will be lucky to work with her.
Lisa is such a wonderful pet sitter and dog Walker! Seriously, we can't say enough good things. Our pit/lab mix Cordy is always so happy to see her (zoomies, anyone?) And Lisa makes sure to take her on walks as long as she needs. When we leave for a weekend, I feel good knowing that Cordy has someone so caring looking after her (and our cat!)

I have a second level apartment in Old Southwest Neighborhood. There is a fenced in backyard and we are only a few blocks from Highland Park and Dog Park. I have one housemate who is laid back and loves to play with dogs.

Availability
I currently work part time in the evenings as a bartender. I just completed an MFA in creative writing and am often at home writing and so have flexible hours. I would love to long term walk or dog sit for you but am happy to help out as needed! My shifts at the restaurant are under 7hrs typically, so your pup would never be alone for long.
