Pet care experience
Personally, I have lived with and cared for pets all of my life. As an adult I have pet sat for family and friends since 2002. I have house-sat and pet-boarded professionally since June 2020. I also offer pet visits and dog walking. I can house/pet sit as far north as Ukiah, and most other areas of the bay. Please contact me. I have completed three animal caregiving internships at farm animal sanctuaries, learning how to care for a range of domestically farmed animals, including but not limited to, horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, ducks, farm cats, and rabbits. I very much enjoy animal companionship and studying from home currently allows me to provide a number of caregiving services to your beloved animal companions. I also have experience with administering medications to pets and I am very observant of and respectful of an animal's wishes, such as being picked up or petted. I can house/pet sit in the entire bay area with at least a weeks notice.

Lisa is fantastic. She took great care of our precious Annie, and we'll definitely have her back. She is conscientious, caring, and clearly loves animals. She stayed in our home and sent us photos and updates about our dog. She is the BEST!
Lisa was attentive and loving with our Sadie. She was responsive and thorough in her communication with me. I truly appreciated her updates. Sadie will stay with Lisa again soon.

I have a fenced yard with plenty of shade for sunny weather. There is a small pool, that can be blocked off if necessary, but as I have a small pug, dogs are always supervised when in the yard.

Does the pet have any medications, specialty food, treats, supplements, behavior problems etc. I'd also like to know likes and dislikes, and any areas that could use work, such as leash pulling. If your dog has separation anxiety, is very large, has high energy, problems with other dogs etc, then please consider having a sitter in your home with your dog. I am available for this, and can house/pet sit as far north as Ukiah, and most other areas of the bay.
A typical day
Walks will be in the local neighborhood and nearby parks. If your dog(s) likes hiking, that can be arranged as well. And I'm happy to do off leash hikes and ball throwing if your dog has good recall.
