Along with having pets my entire life (lots of cats, a Lab, and a Doberman), I worked for two summers at a boarding place. I took care of the dogs by feeding them, giving any medications they needed, let them out to play, cleaned up after them, and gave them lots of love. I worked with dogs of all sizes and all ages. I also worked with many different breeds and energy levels. Through this job, I learned that each dog has their own personality, no matter what their breed is. I also learned how to work with each individual dog and appreciate their little quirks. Also, a few years ago, I participated in 4-H with my Lab. Through this program, I also learned about many different breeds, typical behaviors, and health information.
