Thank you for considering me as your pet caretaker! I am an avid animal enthusiast who has worked with a lot of different animals, both in my personal life and professional life. I have three cats, one dog, a fish tank, 12 chickens, and two bee hives! I have a background with walking dogs and socializing animals within a shelter setting, as well as fostering cats and rabbits. I was trained as a dog trainer at a national pet chain and work closely with an in home dog trainer with my own little guy, Winston. My background is in special education, with years of working with children with ASD and mental illnesses. I find my experience has allowed me to develop a high level of patience and empathy, which transfers well to working with a range of animal personalities.

Linsey is a dog whisperer! Our Yorkie mix is a rescue and is very weary of strangers. We had a difficult time finding people willing to let her out. She would growl and hide when we would introduce her to potential walkers, but not Linsey! Our dog warmed up to Linsey right away. Our dog loves Linsey's very calm and friendly demeanor. We love that she is knowledgeable, timely and patient with our pup. If you're looking for an experienced dog walker/sitter, Linsey is the best!

A typical day
I’d take them on walks maybe in a state park if they can leave the area. I love Ames Nowell or Bare Cove, or a couple places around Pembroke I’m familiar with. Or I’d find their favorite toys and play with those. I’d definitely give them lots of treats when we are first getting to know each other so they know I’m chill.

I currently work until 2:30 on weekdays, after which i can do drop ins or walks. I’m also free during weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
