Hi!! I am Star and I am a freelance graphic designer as well as a dog-lover! I truly believe that dogs enrich our lives. I have 30 years of experience with dogs. I am very good at feeding them and if they have any meds they take to administer those with cheese. I would love to care for your furry friends while you are away. : ) I am extremely reliable and punctual. I will make sure to take care of your fur baby like it is my own, spoiled! I specialize in the care of small dogs that need a lot of love and attention! I just have always loved small dogs and grew up with small dogs and I just adore caring for them. I love snuggling while watching tv, if they are a snuggling dog, and taking time out for playtime. I live in an adorable townhouse with a fenced-in backyard in North Raleigh. I will give them lots of walks, treats, potty breaks, and play time! I even let them sleep in my bed. I always let my pugzu Ralphie sleep in the bed at night. There is plenty of space. I let them on the furniture, my house is dog friendly. There is a fenced-in backyard and a deck area they can hangout on. Additionally, I will send you updates twice a day with pics and updates to our activites through our day together! I want you to feel peace of mind knowing that your dog is in good hands and having a great time! I never leave them unsupervised. I don't use crates. If I do go somewhere, like the store, I use a baby gate and let them stay in the kitchen with lots of toys and water. I don't have children that could bother fur babies. I perfer dogs as babies instead of human babies! haha I like to spend my free time doing yoga. I love an iced coffee. I also enjoy other activities like bike riding and yoga. It is so important to move our bodies and exercise and I believe the same for our furry friends. Movement can enrich our lives so much. It is so important make sure they get the exercise and maybe the occasional treat as well as potty breaks. It would be an honor to host your fur baby! I have a small pugzu that’s 18 lbs. He’s very young, 2 years old, and not aggressive. He is up to date on all shots and treated for heart worms and also is treated monthly for flea and ticks. He is very clean and well cared for. He likes having friends stop by! Like I said above, I specialize in small dogs, love having them around, and small dogs are what I feel most comfortable hosting.

Linnie is very sweet and took great interest in my dog and was excellent communicating and checking if I was ok with any other dog who might come while my dog was there, which I was because they were all about the same size and I consider it a great thing when there are a couple of dogs for my guy to play with! She sent me lots of photos. In all of them he was on the couch, but she updated me that he was eating and going for walks. He also looked to be getting a lot of naps! One day there was accidentally the same photo as the night before. There was also some miscommunication about his medication as in it was given without checking with me first, and not for the purpose it was intended. Linnie seems to understand dogs well because she knew this med could be helpful with fireworks anxiety, though. I will say when we picked him up he seemed happy and healthy, and I am extremely grateful to Linnie Star for taking care of him when we really needed help, especially with just a couple days notice.
Our pup had a great time staying with Star (Linnie)! She is very sweet and put us at ease for our pup’s first time away from home. She’s VERY quick to respond to calls/texts and sent us updates and pictures. Her dog is the chillest dog you’ve ever met and will get along with everyone/everydog. She’s a great dogsitter!
Star (Linnie) was awesome with my dog, Luna. Luna tends to be pretty nervous and jittery, but Star was super patient and gentle with her. I would definitely recommend Star, and plan to send Luna back in the future.
Linnie responded very quickly for a last minute trip for our pup, Maggie. She gave us updates with photos everyday. It was worry and hassle free. Thanks for taking great care of her! Cindy L

I work freelance graphic design so I have a lot of time to spend with the doggies. We go out every couple hours and they get lots of treats. I have easy to clean floors and dog-friendly furniture. They get walks.
