Pet care experience
I had a Labrador retriever for 13 years who passed away in December of 2016. Before and during the time of owning her I took care of many neighbors dogs while they were away on vacation. After losing my lab I decided I was not ready to get another dog of my own but was open to the idea of fostering. I have fostered through Wolf Trap Animal Rescue while living in Northern Virginia. I am a very patient and understanding person. I have most availability on the weekends. During the week I work as the jobs program supervisor for Best Buddies. Most of my time is dedicated to supporting our participants through our Jobs program. I am working from home at this time with more flexibility in my schedule. I am really looking forward to knowing more about your dog!

Linnea took such great care of our dog. This was the first time we had spent time away from our pup and it was clear from the videos and photos our dog had so much fun on hikes, at the park, etc. she was very much at ease! Already asked Linnea if she’s free for the next time we’re out of town.
Linnea is the best for my active senior dog! He requires lots of cuddles and loves the outdoors and she makes sure he gets all of that and the pictures prove it. So grateful we found her!
Linnea was very thorough throughout the whole process. She made sure she understood all the needs of our dog in order to make her feel at home. In doing so she also made us feel reassured that our dog was in good hands. I can tell our dog definitely had a good time while staying with her. I would highly recommend Linnea. It was a wonderful experience to work with her.
Linnea took great care of our 4.5 month old goldendoodle puppy. She was extremely communicative and very knowledgeable about dogs and puppies. Our dog had a great day! We will definitely use her again!

I would just like to know the breed. I would like to know the fur type as well as amount of shedding due to recently discovered allergies of mine. Any history of aggression towards humans, more specifically men or children, or other animals. Preference to outings (e.g., long walks, short walks, busy streets, quiet neighborhood, jogging or running). I would like to know if there are any dietary concerns, if the dog is fully potty trained, and what his/her normal routine is like at home. I would like to keep it as close to the normal routine as possible.
A typical day
I live in a beautiful dog friendly neighborhood! I live two blocks from an entry point into Golden Gate Park. It is a great opportunity with plenty of space to explore!
