Pet care experience
Hello! I have been dog sitting about 10 years now, for furry friends of all breeds and sizes. From 140 pound newfies to 15 pound cats, I've been lucky enough to hang with the lot of them! I have experience with sick pets, new puppies, older, wiser companions and most things in between. Besides enjoying doting on and providing cuddles, I love getting to know your animal with their quirks and unique personalities. I think the key to a fun, safe and successful experience for all is the importance of respecting both the furry companions wants and needs as well as their owners. Linnea treats all the dogs like they are her own! She's a responsible caregiver but more than that goes above and beyond to go on fun hikes and runs, play dates, and lots of activities with the dogs she watches. Our dog knows the sound of her car and truly goes wild when he knows she's coming over, he LOVES her.
Our boisterous hound loves when Linnea comes over to take him on a walk. I swear he knows what day it is and has a peppier demeanor until she arrives. Linnea is in tune with his (sometimes) strange behavior and tailors hikes for his high energy level. She comes with my highest recommendation.
Linnea is fantastic. She genuinely loves adventuring around the Tahoe Truckee wilderness with our dog, Angus. Linnea is reliable, punctual, and a clear communicator. Her energy vibes well with both humans and canines, and our dog is ecstatic whenever she arrives because he knows he's going on an adventure. Do yourself a favor and bring Linnea onboard: you have found your dog's best companion when you're not available. Linnea is a joy to work with and my dog always comes home HAPPY AND TIRED. What more could you ask for?
