My experience is from adopting Brinks on April 23, 2013 when I was ready to be responsible for having a dog. We run and hike regularly and have occasionally kayaked. Brinks gets along with most dogs as he's very good at gauging how to interact. He doesn't get along with cats though. I have fostered another dog for five weeks and was able to handle their interaction as well as train the other dog who was more rambunctious. And I watched a neighbor's geriatric dog and treated her to some of Brinks's chicken porridge when I cooked it for him. I love Brinks like no other and dogs are truly amazing beings. I want to do the best I can at walking/watching other people's dogs on a road trip I'm planning to the West coast and might continue with Rover when I settle back down in Denver.
