Pet care experience
I have 6 years of experience walking dogs, 3 years of training dogs with positive methods, and 2 years of Vet Assistant. I have owned dogs my whole life. I currently own 2 large sized dogs (over 50 pounds), 1 medium sized dog (30 pounds), and 1 cat. I have volunteered at the Tallahassee Animal Service center for 4 years and have experience walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have worked with dogs that are nervous around new people, dog aggressive, or are escape artists. I can work on basic manners, or help with any specialized training as well! Any animals that will stay at my house are asked to be spayed or neutered. A mandatory meet and greet is required to ensure the safety of all animals entering my house.

Lindsey was so great with my dog Olive. Olive is pretty high energy but Lindsey kept her happy and exercised while I was on vacation. I know because every picture she sent, Olive was pooped! This was my first time leaving Olive with someone new but Lindsey was so great. She really understands dogs and puts up with nervous owners like me graciously. I got loads of pictures of my pup during her staycation. Thanks Lindsey!
Lindsey is great! She really knows what to do to keep dogs comfortable. Having someone else take care of your babies is very stressful, but knowing that Lindsey truly treats my dog like her own makes me feel very at ease. And coming home to a dog that has learned a few tricks is a plus! Missy can't wait to visit again!

Before taking care of a dog I would like to know if they have any known behavioral issues or if I need to avoid anything or anyone. Please let me know if you keep them on a specific schedule so I can make their stay easier.
A typical day
Dogs will enjoy a brisk walk around the neighborhood twice per day, and a lengthy park walk in the evening. Playful dogs will be introduced to my own dogs to play throughout the day. Even if the dogs do not enjoy the company of my dogs they will have ample time to play games, and watch TV on the couch. I can also work on training for Rally, Agility, or Flyball if you are interested in dog sports.
