Dogs love me and I love them!
Pet care experience
Hello! I love dogs-big and small and I have lots of experience with them. I always had a dog growing up and I was their main caretaker, even as a child. I managed a dog daycare for 3 years and have done lots of dog-sitting in other's homes and in my own. I am knowledgeable about dog behavior and psychology and have provided dog training for people in their homes. I've sat, worked, and lived with a variety of dogs-dogs with medical needs, anxiety, fearfulness, aggression, etc. I'm in my late 30s, respectful, friendly, clean, and responsible. I live in a duplex apt and do not have a fenced in yard. When we go outside it will be for a walk at least 3x per day, morning, afternoon, and evening. Let me know if I can help you out!!

Lindsey was wonderful with both our dogs. Her communication was excellent and we knew our dogs were in good hands! We will definitely be boarding our dogs with her again.
Lindsey was great with Decker, making sure she was treated the same way in her home that she is in our home. Lindsey provided daily updates throughout the stay and was very accomodating with the pick up and drop off. Definitely recommend!
Lindsey was fabulous! She took great care of Otis and allowed him to make himself at home in her house. She sent pictures and kept us updated during his stay. We would definitely leave Otis with Lindsey again!

I meet any possible new client at their home or mine with the dog before sitting. I'd also like to know what kind of dog you have, what their energy level is, and what their temperament is like. I'd like to know if they have an particular fears or behaviors (e.g., doesn't like skateboards and will bark at them and chase them). Details about your daily habits are important to me to. For example, does your dog usually sleep in the same room or bed as you? Are there any rituals around feeding time?
A typical day
Dogs are pack animals so they usually enjoy being with a pack, and not being left alone. I think it's important for dogs to have at least one walk a day and/or some type of activity. It can depend on the dogs energy level and needs. I'm more than happy to take your dog(s) to the dog park or on a walk. I am working from home these days so I'm around most of the time. I have worked a lot with dogs with anxiety issues and fearfulness and know just what to do in cases such as being uneasy about a stranger. I am easy to get a hold of so you can contact me any time to check in on your pet.
