As a medical student, I spend a large part of my day studying at home and would love to have a dog or cat to hang with during a study break! I also enjoy running on the Beltline, and would be happy to take your dog out for some exercise. My love for animals was established early, growing up with both dogs and cats. I volunteered at the ASPCA for several years in college—here, I walked dogs, cleaned kennels, and administered medications to dogs and cats. After college, I considered a career in veterinary medicine and interned as a small animal veterinary technician here in Atlanta for two years. Because of this experience, I feel comfortable taking care of elderly pets, dogs and cats with behavioral challenges, or animals with additional needs. Got a goldfish who need some TLC too?... I also love marine animals and volunteer with the Georgia Aquarium, where you might find me guiding guests through Ocean Voyager or Cold Water Quest exhibits! I decided to join Rover not only to help supplement my student loans, but also to incorporate time into my day spent working with animals-- there is no better stress relief!
