I love all doggos — puppies and seniors alike! I have experience caring for dogs of all ages. My significant other and I work from home (him 100%, me 90%). Thus, we are able to provide round-the-clock love and attention for your pup! I am a lifelong runner and adventurer, and I would love to take your dog along! If you think your pup would much prefer a day swimming in the river, lounging in the backyard sun, or snuggling on a sofa, I welcome dogs of all backgrounds and energy levels. I’ve cared for dozens of animals throughout my childhood and young adulthood. I’ve also been privileged enough to have family dogs my whole life. I promise to love your dog and treat them with utmost kindness and patience. We do not currently have any pets of our own. If you believe your dog would have a happier time boarding with another dog friend, please let us know and we can try to coordinate with another family. If you live in a home with multiple animals and would like assistance caring for those pets alongside dog sitting, please ask about my experience caring for other animals. Please discuss any special needs your dog(s) may have with us prior to boarding or housesitting. If boarding in our home, we have a fenced backyard. However, we do not support leaving dogs outside unattended. Luckily, we have a large deck and covered patio space to watch your loved one from while they romp and play. We do support crate training and crate use. Again, please let us know what makes your pup most comfortable. We want to help you and your doggo be relaxed and happy while you are away. We’ve seen all types of dogs: ones that need to sleep within the covers, under the bed, or on your head. We love them all dearly, and we’re here to accommodate whatever they need! We shoot for 1-2 hours of walking or running a day, on top of play, if your dog is a large or high-energy breed. If they need more or less moving time, please let us know! We are avid adventurers. We run, hike, or walk daily; and we’d love to take your dog along with us! Our schedules are extremely flexible. We ask that you provide your pup with their favorite chew toys, treats, or puzzles when they come and board with us or when we come to house sit, especially if they are a herding or high-energy breed. We have some toys, kongs, and treats at our disposal, but we may not have all breed-appropriate, size-appropriate, or tummy-appropriate chews for your dog! If boarding at our place, we also hope you supply us with toys, dog beds, or cloths that remind your pup of home. We find that it helps dogs remain happy and anxiety-free.
