Pet care experience
I love animals. I've loved them since the day my parents introduced me to my childhood cat. I now have 2 cats of my own (Rory and Bentley) and, while I don't have any dogs yet, I would love to hang out with yours. Even though I'm new to Rover, I have roughly 10 years of experience taking care of dogs and cats for people in my community. I've been around the block and can proficiently administer both oral and injected medication. A lot of people never meet their neighbors. If you and your furry friend would like to make a connection and come away with a reliable steward, I'd love to set up a meet and greet.

Lindsey did a great job watching our dogs for a long weekend. She was very responsive and gave updates each day.

Lindsey was great, the whole family loved her. She spent extra time with sparkey ( most recent rescue) he can be difficult. When I got back home everyone was happy and healthy. I definitely would use Lindsey again.

I do not have the ability to care for pets in my home, but I am happy to come to yours. I try to maintain a similar routine/schedule to yours when pet sitting to lessen the stress of you being away. My pets do not come to homes with me on check ins or overnights. I do not invite guests (including my spouse) into your home unless I have explicit consent from you. I will treat your home with respect, clean up after myself, and leave it as clean as it was when I arrived.

I will be sure to get specific information on your pets' schedule, feeding needs, habits, routines, rules, etc. I like to do a meet and greet beforehand so you can show me the lay of the land and meet you and your pet.
A typical day
I usually do 2 walks a day (morning and evening) unless your pet is accustomed to a different schedule. I love doing weekend dog park outings or fetch in the yard. I also enjoy cuddling up with your pup on the couch. Any small things you need done around the house I am happy to take care of while you're away (mail, watering plants, taking the trash out, etc.). I am happy to send as many or as few updates and photos as you like while you're away.

Availability
As a working professional, I have availability constraints that I ask you to take into consideration. I am available throughout the week for overnights, but I also am typically in the office from 9am to 6pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. I have significantly more flexibility to offer to you on Mondays and Fridays due to working from home, as well as on weekends.
