Caring for pups with compassion.
Pet care experience
I have a passion for rescue animals and I love to photograph them in their natural element. My professional background involves working with people with developmental disabilities, which has taught me to be patient and compassionate with everyone I meet. One of the most rewarding experiences of my life was adopting Piper, a senior cocker spaniel mix who was blind and deaf, from the Oldies But Goodies Cocker Spaniel Rescue. She was my faithful companion for her "golden years" until she crossed the rainbow bridge in June 2021. I miss her dearly, but she inspired me to become a Rover sitter and share my love with other pups who need a temporary "home away from home". Piper's legacy lives on in my heart and in every dog I care for.
Reviews
Our very elderly dog with multiple health issues and anxiety just completed a 6 day stay with Lindsey. As with all our experiences with Lindsey, our girl was carefully and lovingly cared for, with extra attention needed for feeding, administering meds, excessive potty breaks, diapering and decreasing mobility. Lindsey took the time to review all care instructions ahead of our stay, and replicated as closely as possible the care we provide at home. Lindsey checked in to provide us with a daily activity report (with beautiful pictures!) and to ask any questions she had. That kind of communication went a long way to assure us that all was well.
Lindsey is the best. We’re so grateful for her. Our senior dog has been struggling with health complications and Lindsey went above and beyond to meet her needs and communicate with us. She truly cares and it shows.
If you are looking for a very calm, patient, and caring atmosphere that will make your dog feel relaxed and loved, Lindsey’s your sitter. Lindsey went above and beyond my expectations on my most recent booking, being injured herself by a large and aggressive off-leash dog while out on a walk with my small senior dog. Her instincts fully protected my dog from any injury from the charging dog. I have used Lindsey several times in the past and she will continue to be my go-to for all my dog sitting needs.
Lindsey is extremely attentive and considerate, providing updates with the most phenomenal pictures of our dog while we are away!

Our townhouse has a small fenced back patio. Our neighborhood is also very dog-friendly, with many other dogs living on our cul de sac. I have experience with special needs care, such as administering medications, following dietary restrictions, and providing comfort, respite and support. I am attentive to the individual needs of each pup and I can adapt our home to suit their preferences and requirements. I also have received training in Pet CPR & First Aid by Pet Tech, and my certification is valid through April 2024.

Information Lindsey N. would like to know about your pet
We love dogs, but we have some limitations on the types of furry friends we can accommodate. Please be aware that we are unable to host dogs that: - Exhibits excessive barking tendencies (this is important because my spouse works night shifts occasionally and may need to sleep during the day). - Display aggression issues or have a bite history. Also, prior to confirming any booking, I do require a meet-and-greet with the owner and the pup. This provides a great opportunity for you, me, and the dog to get acquainted and see if we are a good match.
A typical day
Your pet's well-being is my priority. I will tailor the activities to suit your pet's needs and preferences. Whether we go for walks on the scenic trails and parks near my home, or chill out on the couch, your pet will have a cozy and enjoyable stay with us.

Availability
My spouse and I have adaptable schedules that allow us to provide the best care for the pups we host. I work remotely full-time, while my spouse rotates between day and night shifts. We coordinate to ensure that our canine guests receive lots of attention, walks, and belly rubs. If necessary, we can also arrange so that at least one of us is at home to keep your pet comfortable and happy.
