Hi! My name is Lindsey and I am currently a PhD student at the U of I in Animal Sciences and I am primarily looking for opportunities to care for cats, but also love dogs! I have experience taking care of my own cat, Petri. He is 11 and I adopted him from the Champaign Humane Society when I moved here six years ago from Massachusetts. Because my family is out of state and I am stuck in the lab doing experiments, I am often in town and available during holidays to check up on your cat. I have a fairly flexible schedule that allows me to leave during business hours if needed to work around you and your cat's needs! I am willing to give your cat all or none of the attention he/she wants! I know that my cat is super cuddly and loves all of the scratches and cuddles, so I can definitely give your cat some love if needed. My cat was diagnosed with melanoma in his eye last summer, resulting in enucleation, so I have experience caring for a cat who has just undergone surgery and needs to be given medication.
