Pet care experience
I grew up with animals and they have been apart of me my whole life. I have experience with many types of animals at all different ages. These animals include dogs, cats, horses, cows and goats. Even some other types such as rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, fish and turtles. I have always wanted to make a career out of my love for animals. As a teenager I did a lot of work at a local barn and plenty of pet-sitting for family and friends. I became interested in the medical aspect of animals and right out of high school I got my first job in the veterinary field. I’ve been in and out of the veterinary field for the last 8 years. Throughout my time in the veterinary field I started as a kennel technician, then a veterinary assistant and then onto on-the-job training as a veterinary technician. I worked in rescue and boarding facilities in the in-between times. I am now looking into rover as it will allow me to set my own schedule. I currently reside in Sumter, South Carolina with my boyfriend Jon and his daughter Stella. We have a 12 year old dachshund, 8 year old German Shepherd, and two cats about 11 and 15 years old. Our cats are outdoor cats with a setup in our garage. They are all super spoiled and more so like our children. I’m excited for this new opportunity to meet and take care of all your fur babies! They will forever be treated as one of my own. I also have a love for photography so I am bound to take cute and silly photos to share with you as long as you approve. **I have pictures of our home included in my photos. We have fixed up a cool "doggie room" out of our old pool house. So that your pets can also have their own space and time outside themselves without always being with our pets. The goal is to make it as "homey" as possible for them. We would rather the pets staying with us feel comfortable and have their space. Other then keeping a various amount of different pets boarding at a time. Quality over Quantity. We have heat and air inside. There is a camera up so I can see them. Even when I am not home. Everything is cleaned and sanitized between each pet. The yard will be scooped. Our backyard is fully fenced with privacy fence. It is set up like a home so if your pet starts chewing or using the bathroom on the floor they may have to be put into a kennel. Other then when they are outside.**

Lindsey was great - she came by to meet and greet our high maintenance special needs dog and spent 2 hours trying to make him comfortable. She was great with Sadie for their walk! Very good with dogs!
Lindsey was very responsive to my request for one day of boarding my two dogs while I was in town. She was flexible and accommodating with times. Most importantly the dogs liked her from the start. She has a great set up for the dogs, sent lots of great photos. They would have been fine staying longer and I would definitely ask her to have them again. Thanks so much, Lindsay, for a great experience!
Lindsey was available kind of last minute and worked with our schedule to be able to do a pre-meeting. She sent pictures and communicated with each visit to check on our sweet cats. We felt confident that our loved ones were in good hands so we could relax and enjoy our vacation!

I am a good multi-tasker, I’m extremely organized, clean, detail oriented and able to follow instructions. If your pet is doing daycare or boarding with me feel free to bring their bed, toys, kennel or whatever may make them most comfortable. **I have pictures of our home included in my photos. Please notify me of any vices or needs your pet may have and how I can accommodate. If your pet is not potty trained, is known for chewing, sleeps in their kennel at night. etc. Please leave any feeding/medication or any other special instructions. I require any dogs that board at my home to be updated on vaccines and on flea prevention. Vaccinations I require: Rabies DHPP Bordetella
A typical day
I can adjust from playing and spending the extra quality time needed with the younger or more playful pups, to hanging out and loving on the older/more laid back ones. You will most definitely receive plenty of updates and pictures from me.

Availability
As of now I am not working another job and my schedule is pretty open and available to get to know you and your fur kids. **When scheduling daycare I can not always promise anything. It depends on how other daycare/boarding pets schedule. I only watch pets from one family at a time.**
