Hi! My name is Lindsey and I am a first-year teacher here in McDowell County! For years, I have helped house-sit and take care of friends/families’ pets, as well as my own, and I will gladly help you! I will be starting my first teaching job this spring at McDowell Early College, as well as working part-time at a local ice cream shop here in Marion! Along with my love for my work, fur babies have a special place in my heart. I’ve always had a passion for animals and helping others in need, and I’d be happy to help any out when they need it! Lindsey was great! She was very quick to respond, and she was very understanding when I had to change plans. In the end I didnt need her to watch my furbaby but will use her for further trips to the Boone area.
Lindsey watched my two dogs and cat in my home for several days. She was very dependable and trustworthy. I really appreciated the updates and photos she provided to me while I was away. All pets were happy and it was a great experience for all! Would definitely have Lindsey watch them again!
I trust Lindsey more than anyone else with my dog Ollie. She’s great with him. She always gives him plenty of play time and lots of love. I would highly recommend her!

A typical day
I try to wake up early enough to let my own dog out and walk her for a few minutes in our yard. We love to play together inside and outside our home!

Availability
I do work full-time as a teacher, so my schedule is full, but with my own dog, I ensure that I make time to fulfill her needs and would be able to do the same with your pets! I work 7:30-3:30 every week day during the school year, but am mostly completely free on weekends!
