WFH homebody with a fenced yard!

Pet care experience

I grew up with cats but have always loved dogs. I love have my canine nieces and nephews come over for play time! I got my own dog 3 years ago and have kept her doggy besties when they were under the weather or just needed daycare for a bit. My own dog (Tellico, a 3.5 yo black Weimaraner/Coonhound mix I adopted) is high energy, so I’m experienced with dogs who need exercise and mental stimulation to feel content at the end of the day!

Lindsey was amazing with our dog. She went above and beyond to care for him, entertain him and stimulate his brain in creative ways. She has definitely done her research in dog training/care. We would definitely use her again for future dog sitting needs!

Lindsey was incredible! Took such good care of my Winston. Made him feel comfortable and at home. She sent me pictures often with updates and was just a pleasure to talk to! We will definitely be booking her in the future!

Fully fenced back yard and a friendly dog to play chase or bites face or just nap in the grass with! Dogs are always welcome on my furniture and bed, and I love finding new and engaging enrichment for pups to wear out their minds. I’ve worked with a R+, Certified SAPT trainer on my dog’s separation anxiety for several months and have a good grasp of stress signals and body language. I can crate your dog if they’re more comfortable in their own space and am happy to work with your pup’s specific needs.

Information Lindsey G. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has separation anxiety, reactivity, or other behavioral issues and how you prefer to manage it. When possible, I prefer to set up a meet and greet beforehand.

A typical day

I like to start the day with a long sniff and play session in the back yard. I work from the back porch a lot, so sunbathing in the yard, squirrel watching, and chipmunk chasing are always an option! If the dogs are looking for interactive play, I have plenty of toys for tug and fetch! My neighborhood is great for long walks, and if your dog prefers to hike, there’s several miles of trail right down the road.

Availability

I work from home 4 days a week, in office one day, and have virtually no social life. I like to get out for walks several times a day, or go down to the greenway for a few miles after work. My fenced yard and screened in porch mean your dog can sunbathe or squirrel stalk as much as they want!
