Pet care experience
I have had pets my whole life including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, lizards, snakes, and birds. I love all animals and have experience caring for them. Currently I am part of a chicken co-op (on my friends property) and I help care for 30 chickens! My partner and I have a dog of our own and he is the love of our lives. I am a trustworthy and responsible person so your pets will get the best care, attention, and love from me! I am kind and warm hearted and animals bring me joy. My friends regularly call on me to help care for their pets: walk their dogs, run them, take them to dog parks, house sit & pet sit while they are away. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, pigs, goats, and chickens (plus plants).

I booked Lindsey to provide drop-in and overnight care for my two 16 year old cats while I was on a 3 week trip. I have nothing but positive things to say about her. She was timely with her communication, kept the condo clean and orderly and, most importantly, cared and loved my kitties as I would have done. She was able to provide necessary medication and sent daily photos and updates of the cats, which made me feel like they were in good hands. I am an active person, so if your dog needs lots of exercise I can make that happen! I am also content being cozy on the couch with your elderly or snuggly pups/pets! I am content when i'm at home with my dog in my lap. I treat my dog like a king that he is. During the work week we go potty in the morning, as soon as I get home we go on a 30 minute walk, then we go for our last potty break before bed. We live in an apartment so I keep him leashed. Over the weekend we usually get outside and go hike through the woods, walk along Locus beach, or visit dog parks. My dog is on a feeding schedule, and he is trained. This is just a glimpse of how I treat my animal. (He is so spoiled and loved). I am flexible and will honor your request of how you want me to care for your pet.

Let me know if your dog has any preferences or special needs. I'll need to know where the food, medication, leash, and harness/collar are. It would be nice to know if we can go to an off-leash dog park or not.
A typical day
I love being playful with dogs. I like to play hide and seek with them in the house, play fetch, and do tricks (for treats) with them. I also like to get outside (if the weather is not too miserable) with them. We can go on walks, play fetch, and run. I like taking my dog, and dogs I watch, to Little Squalicum off-leash dog park, and Squalicum Creek Park. I also love taking my dog to the dog off-leash trail behind lake Padden. My dog gets the 'zoomies' in the woods, and it's one of the best things in life.

Availability
I am currently a substitute teacher so weekdays, I am available after 3:30 or 4. Weekends I am available anytime. I'd love to stay at your place and care for you animals! Id be happy to stay during the week and care for the pets in the morning, late/afternoon and into the evening. I will have OPEN AVAILABILITY over the summer.
