Pet care experience
I have fostered, rescued and rehomed dogs for years. When I first moved to New Orleans, I became the official neighborhood dog rescue lady. I am responsible, doting, and LOVE taking long walks all over the neighborhood. I will spoil your animals with affection, attention, treats, and care. I have full availability throughout the week. I would love to care for your pup as if they were my own. My sole mission is to make every pup feel as safe, happy, and comfortable as possible! Please note I have a 3 year old son who is VERY gentle with dogs and kind of just does his own thing. I do request potential pups be okay with calm, respectful children. In my home, dogs are treated as a member of the family. They have full furniture access, endless cuddles, and as many trips outside as their heart desires. I have a fenced-in yard but I prefer to walk them. If your dog enjoys long walks, I would love to provide that service! I am very conscientious, can administer meds, CPR, and baths.

Lindsey was absolutely terrific. Our dog definitely felt at home with her (when he's stressed he comes back with bloody stool and other stress symptoms...not the case here!). She was terrific with communication, sending lots of photos and updates. She also was very attentive to his needs, including when some unanticipated health issues came up. She took him to our vet, was great in giving him his meds, etc. I could tell from the pictures that our dog was very happy with Lindsey and her family, and we definitely plan on rebooking with her again in the future!

I care for my pets as one of the family. They have full autonomy in the house. More than anything, I care about your pet's comfort and assuring them they are well-cared for, loved, and safe in their parent's absence. I genuinely love getting to know dogs. They all have such unique, quirky personalities and it's a joy to see them when they are completely comfortable in their environment. I will defer- implicitly -to the pet parent for their specific needs and desires. *I make exceptions for my one dog at a time rule for dogs from the same household*

A typical day
I love taking pups on walks all over the neighborhood! I love engaging/playing, cuddling, and spoiling! I will happily run around for hours with your pup or if lazing about the house is their preference, I will happily oblige! We love Audobon Park but also love exploring all the nooks and crannies of Uptown!

Availability
I'm currently working part-time (mostly from home) and am a full-time online student. My schedule is very flexible. My child is at school during the week and I am a homebody most of the time!
