Pet care experience
I’ve been a lifelong lover of animals, so getting the chance to be a regular dog sitter was truly a dream come true for me! I just enjoy watching them learn and giving them unconditional love. I always love getting to know new pups, since each one is so unique. There’s just nothing like getting to watch over a happy pup! I also like the fact that I can give back to the community as well by helping owners in need. I can’t wait for the opportunity to meet you and your best friend! I work overnights and am home during the day with my twins. I’m a good fit for pups that are used to having a companion around them during the day or who just enjoy a little extra attention! I have a Pit Bull and an Australian Cattle Dog that love to meet new friends and play non-stop as well, so your pup will always have playmates around. We love to take in new friends whenever possible, so your pup will be right at home with us! During a stay, my number one priority is to make sure that both you and your pup are completely comfortable and well taken care of. For owners, I’m always happy to send them daily updates by way of picture messages so they can know how their pup is getting along and see what we’ve done for the day. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your pupperoni, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! For my canine clients, I’ll always attend to their needs specifically and make sure that our time is structured around what they need to thrive. I like to get as much information as possible even before the stay begins so that I can start thinking about how to make our stay as great as possible!

We always use Lindsey when we go on vacation for our two cats. She is flexible, great with the cats, has good communication, and we always come back to happy, relaxed cats who have obviously been taken care of well.

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Is your pup house trained? Is your pup crate trained? We do ask for pups to be in crates when they are left unattended. Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
I love doing what the dog loves to do. If they want to run and play - we will! If they want to be lazy and cuddle - we will do that, too! I am also a professional dog walker, so I’ve learned some great trails and paths nearby. I know that a healthy puppy is a healthy puppy, so we’ll make sure to get tons of exercise in and stay active as often as possible. When I'm not watching someone else's fur-baby, I am almost always outside hiking with my own. I also love music and art, so those are worked into my free time whenever I have it. I'm an at-home teacher, so I am able to set my own schedule and work when I can.
