I have over 15 years of caring for cats and dogs. I grew up with both cats and dogs and started taking care of them for friends and family at around 11 years old. I've cared for pets of all ages - I have experience with kittens & puppies, young pets, adult pets, and elderly pets. I love to take the time to get to know each pet's personality, and I recognize that all animals have unique needs. Whether it's petting them only in specific places, or preparing their meals in a very particular way, you can trust me to respect your pet's individual needs and provide them with enthusiastic care and affection.

Lindsey is not only an incredibly kind, caring, and responsible person, but they have a life-long love of animals on top of it all. Lindsey treats all animals with the utmost care and attention, learning their personalities and adjusting the care given based on what the animal needs and likes. For years, I have relied on Lindsey to take care of my animals whenever I am unable to and I have never once been disappointed. Anecdotally, my grumpiest cat, who distrusts almost everyone she meets, absolutely adores Lindsey; I believe this to be a result of Lindsey's patient soul and caring attitude. I am very protective of my pets and I don't trust most people with them but I have never once worried about Lindsey taking care of them. I always rest easy knowing they are safe, happy, cared for, and loved under Lindsey's attention.

A typical day
Depending on your dog's energy levels and needs, there are plenty of fulfilling things we can do. For older dogs we can enjoy a nice, slow walk around the neighborhood and take our time exploring the area. With younger, more energetic dogs, we can burn off some energy with a faster paced walk. I love playing with your dog's favorite toys and seeing their excited faces glow when they really get into it. And we can't forget to get some good pets in!

I'm a freelance illustrator, so I set my own schedule and have a lot of flexibility in my daily and weekly routine. I also can do a lot of my work remotely, which works perfectly for housesitting!
