I was raised on a farm with horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and the occasional cow. I helped raise and train horses for everything from halter training to western saddle on trails in the woods. I currently have 2 cats and a German Shepherd. My dog can identify and bring my wallet, keys, and phone, turn lights on or off, close doors, and other fun things including basic obedience. My cats can meow to alert me when the food bowl is empty (lol). I have fostered cats previously of all ages. I had a personal cat who was diabetic and needed insulin shots daily. I have previously worked at a cat rescue for over a year, and did basic medical exams on new intakes to include shots and both liquid and pill oral medications. I also worked for a vet clinic for over a year and still pop in for some extra help. My title was receptionist, however, I spent any and all free time helping the vet techs do anything you don’t need to be certified to do (ranging from nail trims to administering medications).
