Reliable, Active, and Animal Loving
Pet care experience
I’ve had pets my entire life and truly consider them family. I’ve cared for both a cat and a dog of my own into advanced age — I'm familiar with managing everything from daily walks and feeding routines to vet visits, medications, and plenty of playtime and love. I had to say goodbye to my dog last year after his 14th birthday; so I have a soft spot in my heart for "elder puppies". While living in Washington, D.C., I regularly pet sat for neighbors and friends in my apartment building — caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and cats who needed a little extra patience or attention. I’m confident with nervous pups, high-energy dogs, and pets with special needs. I’ve also worked in structured, high-responsibility environments through my career, so you can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and focused on safety at all times. Your pet will be cared for like they’re one of my own.
Reviews

Lindsey was punctual, timely, and flexible given my unusual needs. She even jogged with the dogs - a novel experience for them!

Lindsey was amazing! She took great care of our GSP pup, Momo. Momo has a lot of energy and Lindsey did an amazing job of taking her to the dog park, on runs, and in walks! Momo was clearly tired when we picked her up. Lindsey was also very good at communicating and always sending pictures and updates. She also was very flexible with pick up times, etc. highly recommend! We will definitely be going back to her for all of our pet sitting needs in the future!
Lindsey has always taken amazing care of my dog Logan. She is attentive, companionate, and always makes sure he gets the care that he needs/wants. I continuously get pictures of him being active and playing which makes him come come happy and tired, which is great. I would recommend Lindsey to anyone who is looking for a dog watcher/walker that responds quickly and always has their dogs needs in mind.
Lindsey is the absolute best pet sitter. She’s one of the few people I trust watching my cat, Leo. He suffers from severe allergies and Lindsey is able to administer liquid oral medication to him, which is a feat with cats in general. She’s given him lots of playtime and sent me videos when I’ve asked how he’s doing. You can rest assured that your pet is in the best hands with Lindsey.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently offer care in clients’ homes only — I’m not able to host pets in my own space at this time. When I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space with total respect and care, just like I would my own. I follow your instructions closely, keep things clean, and make sure your pet stays comfortable, safe, and on their usual routine. I’m attentive to details (like gates, leashes, and feeding schedules), and I always do a safety check before leaving. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel 100% confident while you're away. Whether it’s a drop-in, a walk, or a longer stay — your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities.
Information Lindsey D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet has any quirks, sensitivities, or behaviors I should be aware of — especially during walks, at dog parks, or around other animals. I have experience with leash reactivity, anxiety, and high-energy pups, so I’m totally comfortable adjusting our routine to make sure your dog feels safe and understood. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can support them (and you)!
A typical day
I love to keep pets both mentally and physically engaged! A typical day might include a long walk to explore every interesting smell in the neighborhood, followed by some structured play or enrichment time — like puzzle toys, tug-of-war, or practicing fun tricks if you're working on training. I always try to match your pet’s energy level and needs. Whether they love fetch in the yard, slow snuggly strolls, or practicing commands for treats, I’ll follow your routine and give them the attention and love they’re used to. I’ll also send updates and photos throughout the day, so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and in good hands.

Availability
I currently have a very open and flexible schedule, which means I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting most days of the week — including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Because I’m not balancing another job schedule right now, your pet gets my full attention and care. I’m happy to accommodate last-minute requests, recurring bookings, or extended stays when needed. Just send a message and I’ll do my best to make it work!
