Dog walker/sitter with a pup
Pet care experience
I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I can take your dog(s) on walks, (or even hikes on the weekend), doggy play dates with my own dog, or just let your dog relax if that's what they need. We have one dog, Tod, who is about 2 years old. He's a friendly boy who loves to play with other dogs. We also have a cat, Kitty, who is dog tolerant as long as the dog isn't aggressive/annoying toward her. I have much experience pet sitting for friends, family, neighbors and various clients on Rover (please see my reviews), and we have also fostered many rescue dogs, including young puppies, over the last 4 years.
Reviews
Lindsey checked in and cared for our much loved kitty while we were away. She was very responsive, professional and took excellent care of our kitty. The next time we will be away We hope to have Lindsey caring for Mindy again. We highly recommend Lindsey!
Lindsey is amazing. I was so nervous to leave my dogs and have a stranger take care of them, but after the first walk, I was cured of that. She shared photos and updates, so I knew how they were doing. She even took care of my chickens. I'm so grateful to her.
Lindsey was awesome! She kept us updated on how the boys were doing during our trip and sent us photos. We came home to our boys well cared for and loved! Highly recommend and will surely use her again! Thanks Lindsey!
Texas had an awesome day with Todd and Lindsey!

I welcome any breed or size dog in my home as long as they are friendly with other dogs, cats and people. They must also be house trained, though this only applies to adult dogs and older puppies; young puppy accidents are ok and I am happy to work on house training with young pups. Indoor marking, especially with male dogs, is more my concern because I don't want my male dog learning to mark indoors. It's also important that your dog is non-destructive to property and respects fences if they are staying with me. We do have a large fenced in back yard, but it's just a 4ft welded wire fence. It works perfectly for our dog who doesn't try to test it, but it would not stand up well to a large dog who wants to jump it or put front paws on it. If I'm dog walking/sitting at your home, it's ok if your dog isn't cat friendly since they wouldn't be meeting my cat. Ideally, I'd be able to bring my dog along, but he can stay home if your dog is not dog friendly. I am flexible and open to ideas when it comes to walking or caring for your pets.

Information Lindsey S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pet is on any medication that I will need to administer, if your dog has any leash aggression, triggers, or other habits/tendencies I should be aware of, and anything else I should know while caring for them.
A typical day
Depending on your dog's needs and preferences, I'm happy to go for walks, play fetch and other games, or just relax if that's what they need.

Availability
I have a flexible schedule. I can do walks or drop-in visits during the day or evening (I prefer to stick to a 10 mile radius of my house to minimize drive time). Dog boarding and sitting will depend on my availability from week to week. I do tend to be unavailable on weekends through the summer and fall, but I have much more weekend availability in winter.
