Smaller Yard, Bigger Hearts
Pet care experience
We just moved into our new house, that we watched being built from the ground up. We are so excited and blessed to be able to make it into a home full of love and laughter. I have been wanting to provide pet care for several years but I did not have the backyard to be able to do so. I am passionate about animal rescue and if I didn't have a weak stomach, I would be a veterinarian. Instead, I am a social worker with a huge heart. My job is very flexible and allows me the ability to work remotely and spend more time with my family. My husband and I have two kiddos-ages 9 and 6. There has never been a time in my life that our home was not also shared and lived in with a dog or two (or six for a few years-but that was insane!) We have a male corgi mutt and share custody of two black labs with my mom, one of which is a registered therapy dog, that were products of a broken home when we moved out of my mom's house ;) We also have a foster from the Euless Animal Shelter that we are fostering through his heartworm treatment. He's about a year old and keeps us on our toes! I recently lost a pup that was 17-years-old, and before her I lost my first true dog love who was 15, so seniors are welcomed and will be well-loved and taken care of as well. If you've made it this far and are still reading (Thank You), it would probably be a great time to tell you that our dogs are never alone more than a few hours, as my husband works varying shifts, I am off on weekends, and work from home quite a bit as well. We are available Wednesday evenings after 5pm through late Sunday nights. We are a very easy-going family and believe that your dogs will be happy and comfortable while they are visiting with us. They can relax and sleep wherever they are most comfortable and my kids will beg for them to hang out on the couch and run around in the yard with them. We live in a family-friendly community with new fenced-in backyards and sidewalks great for evening walks. Our yard is smaller but our hearts are bigger and we are excited to meet you and your family. We can set up a meet-and-greet beforehand if needed to make sure everyone will be comfortable! Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

Lindsey does so well with my little fur balls! They can be a handful but she is so wonderful! I got pictures and updates the whole time I was gone, and that was greatly appreciated! I have a special needs dog and she took great care of him! She definitely is my go to for pet sitting!!
Amazing as always! Lindsey is one of Jaxon's absolute favorites and her dog snoopy is his best friend. I have zero worries when he is there and he gets all the snuggles he needs.
Lindsay- send me a text at 469 580 6331
Lindsey and her family are very good sitters. The kids were sweet to my dog also. I am using them again for 5 days, because my usual sitter isn’t available. They have a nice home and also send pictures when I’m away.

We do require that your dog has a Rabies vaccination to stay with us. If they do not have a current one, I can recommend a low cost vaccination clinic that will administer them for $5. Additionally, your pup must be free of fleas and current on a monthly flea preventative. They are welcome, but not required, to bring any favorite toys, bed, crate, etc. along with them for their stay. We recommend bringing their own food just because changing it up abruptly may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, and nobody wants that! We do not have any breed preferences-we love all dogs that won't bite us! We do not believe that there are bully breeds-we feel that for the most part, aggressive behavior is learned. But we also understand that your pup may have been a rescue or may have experienced a bad situation that could influence their behavior. We understand this. But since we have young children, we suggest that if your dog is aggressive or does not really get along with kids or other dogs, that we will not be the best fit for your family. If your dog has a tendency to become food aggressive, we understand, and just ask for a heads up so that we can take extra precautions. Feel free to let us know your dog's preferences as well, such as when they like to eat, what they like to do, where they like to sleep, and anything else you feel is important.

We live in a new, small community in Fort Worth with sidewalks and only neighborhood community traffic. My kids love to be outside so the dogs get plenty of running in whether in the backyard or going for a run on the leash if you and they are comfortable with that. We like to play fetch, cuddle on the couch, and give belly rubs, mostly.
