I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and currently have a 1.5 yr old Black Lab and a 3.5 yr old cat that I adore. I have taken a puppy training class and know dog CPR as well as being familiar with canine epilepsy and feline asthma and how to treat and take care of both. I am more familiar with bigger dogs as that's what I have grown up around but can walk and check in on little dogs too and love them just as much.

Lindsey is a responsible person who currently has two pets of her own that she seeks veterinarian and grooming care as needed and treats them like part of her family. She has also cared for my two large breed dogs in both daytime and overnight situations on multiple occasions- I always know they are being well cared for when I leave my dogs with Lindsey!
Lindsey just dog sat my two boxer dogs for four days while I went on vacation. She is not only reliable, but very loving towards our dogs. I knew our pups would be in good hands while we were gone and I was right. Not only did she care for them, but she sent me pictures while I was gone so I could see them having fun. Being a dog and cat owner herself, she is highly knowledgeable about pets! The care that she puts in cannot be faked; it’s just a part of her nurturing personality. I would recommend Lindsey to care for any pet, there is no doubt in my mind that she will take on the task with great care and treat them like her own.

When walking dogs I am always vigilant of my surroundings looking for other dogs, cars, people etc. I also believe in having rules for pets and will be able to abide by any given for your pet care needs. I practice crate training with my dog so I am familiar with kenneling or crating a dog before ending my time with them at your home as well as supervising them in yards even when fenced.

Please let me know if your dog has any dislikes or triggers I need to be aware of or things that make their day better such as an activity they like or treat, etc. Helpful tips on situations that may come up such as encountering another animal, person etc. would also be great to have if they are reactive.
A typical day
During the day while I'm working I provide my dog with mentally stimulating games or activities and when I'm off we usually play ball, go for a walk or to the park or in the summer to the lake to swim. We also enjoy lounging in the grass on a sunny day relaxing.

Availability
I work from home M-F and am free before 7am and after 5pm to check on pets during the week and free most weekends. Currently I have one cat and one dog and no room for more so I am looking for the opportunity to enjoy other animals while their people are out of town or gone for a long day.
