Unfortunately, we have to give Lindsey a bad review. She was very sweet and accommodating with our somewhat difficult dog but ultimately it didn’t work out. 1) Our dog was a total jerk and wouldn’t stop barking at her when she came to our house to dog-sit for the night. She had even come by a couple days before (free of charge) to meet him in hopes that would make him more comfortable. Ultimately, the night she came to house/dog-sit, he just wouldn’t calm down. We texted back and forth and I ultimately told her she could just leave him by himself for the night with the back slider open. 100% not her fault and she tried her best to make it work. 2) The reason for the 1 star review is because we returned the next day with our front door wide open (literally) and our dog roaming the neighborhood (also literally). She apparently exited out the front door, which she inadvertently didn’t shut. I’d be a little more understanding, but I told her to leave out the back gate and she had no key to lock the front door. So, even if she had closed it, it still would’ve been left unlocked. His water was also bone dry. Again, our dog was a jerk, but coming home to a dog roaming the neighborhood and our front door wide open was really shocking. Hopefully this was just a bad night for Lindsey, because she was very sweet.

Lindsey did a great job caring for my sweet old dog. She communicated so that I knew all was well and she was so flexible! She even came over for an extra last minute visit when we were severely delayed by weather. I will definitely book her again!
