Pet care experience
Since I was a kid, I have always had the privilege to care for pets personally and professionally. I volunteered for 5 years at my nearest animal shelter after school, walked multiple neighbors dogs throughout the week, pet sat locally for pups and cats of all ages, and cared for my own cats, dogs, small pets, and even chickens at home! Fortunately, my roommate has a 1 year pup, Miss Avi, and she is a joy to come home too and hang out with when I am able. Even though I can’t have a dog or cat on my own at the moment, I can’t wait to be able to care for your sweet pups and take a stroll or pop in when you need it! :)

Lindsay was fabulous. She helped me last month with my Alaskan Malamute, LUNA--and, was great! She was highly communicative and took her time to meet me before the bookings to do a trial walk and learn where I kept everything for my dog in my apartment. Additionally, I felt Lindsay was responsible and went out of her way to do her best. I would gladly book Lindsay again in the future and would definitely recommend her to other Rover users.
Lindsay is an amazing sitter! She was detailed in her communication with me, and sent lots of photos while she looked after my 2 kitties. She even found my very scared cat who hides under the bed! Your pets are in good hands with her.

Lindsay is one of the most hard-working, responsible, and dependable people I know. She is also a genuine animal lover! She has always had and cared for her own pets: dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, turtles- she loves all living things- and takes care of each one with the love and respect they deserve. I would let Lindsay care for, walk, and watch my pup ANY time- and would NEVER have to worry knowing my pup was in Lindsay's care. In fact, she has cat-sit and dog-watched for me personally and I would never want to have to choose anyone else!

The main jobs that work best for me are dog walking and dropping in to take them out or feed them if needed. With dog walking I am cautious, aware of my surroundings, and I always pick up after them. If a client has particular needs or wants for their furry friend, whether it is a walk or drop in, I am always on top of making sure I accomplish everything that they need done.

If there are specific areas they like to walk around, dog treats they can or can’t have, and how they get along with other dogs or people so I am always aware of their reactions to others around them, and can assess how to handle it properly.
A typical day
I love to make sure your dog is happy mentally, emotionally, and physically whether I’m dropping in to say hello, or we are out on a nice walk around the neighborhood. Depending on where your pup is located, I always love to stay in very public areas to be safe, as well as maybe take a stroll through a nice public park nearby.

Availability
I just graduated from school this spring of 2023, and my availability is spread out through most days of the week. Mornings are usually the best, but depending on the day other times can work too.
