Pet care experience
We always had a dog when I was a child. As an adult, I had Riley, who was a rescued mix-breed, who lived 14 tail-wagging years with us. My kids also cat-sit, tend to chickens, and are happy to water plants. I also had a cat, Mitten, for 15 years.

Lindsay was extremely accommodating and welcoming in a pinch. She and her family made Zoey feel right at home and were very kind about her cupcake eating. I am so glad to have made such a great connection in the Portland area.
Lindsay and the girls were fabulous with Moose while we were out of town! The communication and photos were so appreciated, we knew that he got the best cuddles and the most love over the long weekend! Will definitely reach out again, thank you!
Lindsay is nurturing, responsible and take great care of our dog while we are away. It is so lovely to be on vacation and not have a worry in the world while we are gone because we know he is being so well loved. I would trust Lindsay with my cats, dogs and children! Highly recommend.

We have a large yard and live on a busy street with a sidewalk. I will walk dogs on a leash, clean up after them, and give lots of belly rubs.

It's important that your pets be okay with kids; I have a teenager and a 9 year old who will be around and helping. It's very important that your dog be very good on a leash; our walks will always be on a leash. We can offer multiple short walks a day, and at least 2 longer walks. High-energy dogs that need to go for a long run or for 1 hour+ walks more than once a day are not a good fit for us. We live on a busy street, so if your dog jumps and barks at cars or delivery people, our home is not a good fit.
A typical day
We can go for a sidewalk trek down Main Street, enjoy any of the wooded trails in Cumberland, and give loads of belly rubs. Please bring any special toys that your dog likes to play with!

Availability
I own my own business and work from home; I have a lot of flexibility during work days. Our preference is to offer weekend help, but we are happy to do the occasional week day job.
