Pet care experience
Many of my earliest memories are of animals - pets and wild sightings! We always had cats and dogs growing up, and some of my best days as a kid were when my dad (a veterinarian) would pull me out of school to go along and help handle and socialize puppies at his clients homes while he gave vaccinations. I read body language well, and I am careful about safety around roads and other animals. I find it meditative to navigate the sniffing experience on walks, and I enjoy spending time with dog friends of all shapes and sizes.

I'm Lindsay's dad so could be considered biased but I'm also a retired veterinarian so have both a professional view point and years of watching Lindsay with our many various pets. First I can start off by saying she loves them all. Over the years she has been with many breeds and species, from snuggling in with newborn puppies to reining in frisky 120# bull mastiffs, and a number of cats of different temperment. Because of her love for animals and years of experience I can recommend her without hesitation
Lindsay has cared for our dog Winnie on many occasions. She is dependable, experienced, and has an excellent knowledge of animals. Winnie wags herself silly when she sees Lindsay coming down the driveway. I trust her completely to take care of our baby girl.

A typical day
I love meeting a new animal and figuring out what ways of playing are most fun for them! Tug of war, fetch, puzzle toys, zoomies, and for cats - figuring out if they like to chase a ball of paper, a string and feather toy, or if they prefer hide and seek! I talk to critters a lot, knowing that they’ll pick up on the good vibes even though the words might be a mystery.

Availability
I am a yoga teacher by profession, teaching group and private classes, and I love the routine and activity of getting out for walks with the dogs of friends and neighbors when they travel. My schedule is flexible around my classes, because I am self employed.
