Pet care experience
I’ve owned and loved an array of animals my whole life! Before COVID, I worked full time at a Doggy Daycare/Boarding/Groomer in Maryland. Now, I’m in grad school and looking to play with animals in my free time. I want to spend time with your pet(s) because I genuinely love it. I love animals and making them feel loved and happy- it is definitely the best part of my day! It is my goal to make sure you are comfortable leaving me with your animal(s) and that they are comfortable being with me. I tend to be over-prepared for every situation and I am also a big proponent of "better safe than sorry." If anything seems out of the ordinary with your animal, I will communicate it to you immediately and we can figure out a swift solution. As long as they are with me, their needs and safety will be my priority at all times. As a dog owner myself, I know it can be anxiety-inducing to leave your babies in the care of someone else. If there’s anything I can do to help ease that anxiety, please let me know!

Lindsay was great! Our meet and greet went really well and both dogs loved her. We were able to go over all instructions. On the day of the visit, we were notified when she came and left and even got photos. She was even so kind to leave us a Christmas card! I cannot say enough good things about Lindsay. We would definitely recommend her and use her again in the future.
Lindsay is an angel! She took excellent care of our golden retriever and sent frequent updates and pictures. We have already re-booked her and feel complete trust in her caring and abilities. Thank you, Lindsay!!

The most important thing for me is to be confident that their needs are being met. Do they have any special needs or habits that are outside the norm?
A typical day
The types of activities usually depend on the animal! For example, I once watched a cat who enjoyed fetch so I spent about 20 mins throwing her toy in random directions until he hid it. Another example is a dog I walked that physically couldn’t manage a full 30-minute walk, so instead we went on a 10-minute walk and I rubbed her belly for the other 20 minutes, haha. An activity I play with my dogs at home when they need some stimulation is I’ll hide a series of treats around the house and they’ll run around on a treasure hunt looking for them.

Availability
I am currently in a graduate school program which takes up a few hours a day. I am only a part-time student so time management shouldn’t be a problem when it comes to pet-care!
