Pet care experience
I have been caring for cats, dogs and even smaller pets since I was 8 years old and have only grown in knowledge and care since then. I love both cats and dogs and have 3 pets of my own! I have Kallie, who is an 8 year old cat that I rescued and nursed back to health. I also have Bear and Teddy who are both Bernese Mountain Dogs that have given me experience with puppies. My husband and I have raised both from 8 weeks old and have worked hard to raise them to be amazing boy dogs. My husband and I are ER nurses and we are CPR certified. My husband currently works from home and I work night shift only 3 nights a week. I also have some knowledge of how to care for sick animals because some of the things we do for humans are the same for pets so you’ll be reassured that I have your pets best interest and health in mind. Due to my schedule and my husband working from home, this allows us ample amount of time to care for your fur babies! This also gives us plenty of opportunity to do drop in visits, dog walking and overnight stays in your own home if needed! I absolutely love animals and I am easy to talk to and communicate with. I always have my phone with me so I am happy to answer questions, send updates and photos if that is something you are interested in. I care for my boys and my little girl with my whole heart and I would do the same for yours. I am very vigilant about keeping my own pets health at the best it can be and I would make sure nothing happens to your pets during my care. I even look at bathroom habits and changes to make sure nothing is amiss. I will also make sure they are not getting into anything they shouldn’t be and that they are okay. I am one of those dog moms that would drop anything in an instant to make sure my pets are safe and would apply that same way to yours. We have a fenced in back yard and have only tile and wood in the house. We have plenty of toys and food (if needed) as well as treats too! I am also good with any specific diets that are needed for your pet and I will even stand by to make sure they get what they need. I feed my boys two separate foods at the moment and I stand nearby while they eat to make sure they eat their individual food.

Lindsay and her husband did an amazing job with our pups! They went above and beyond to make sure they were taken care of and even stayed past the 30 minute mark to make sure our elderly dog went to the bathroom. We came home to a clean, vacuumed home with zero accidents, as well! They are awesome. We highly recommend their services and will definitely be in contact with them again for future visits!

Lindsay is an awesome person and I don’t have anything bad to say about her. She loves all animals! She absolutely adores cats and grew up around them. She takes such great care of her cat that she has now and loves on any cat she can find. She is amazing with dogs! She has 2 pups of her own and they are so well behaved. She treats them like they are her own children and her world revolves around them. She is the sweetest kindest person and will take such great care of any animal she sees!

I have a fenced in yard and two big goofy boys who love playing with friends! They have plenty of rover visits and boarding visits so they are easily adaptable and love meeting new furiends. We have a big home as well that allows plenty of space for overnight visits. We do have a cat but we have a gate at the top of our stairs that allows us to keep her separate if necessary due to other dogs not being comfortable with cats or we can keep it open for free roam. Our dogs love our cat and typically we keep it open so they can roam about our home! We also have plenty of space if your dog needs a crate at night.

Please let me know of any special needs, behaviors, medications or preferences your dog requires. Since I am an ER nurse, I am confident in my skills to provide any medications that are necessary or special needs your dog many require. Even though I work with human patients, I have learned how to care for them properly and would apply that same care to your fur child. I also feel comfortable approaching different behaviors and have learned how to appropriately address them since I have two dogs that are very different in personalities and have been able to read them individually!
A typical day
I have learned with my own two dogs that physical and mental stimulation are both very important! I love walks, playing, and toys but I also know that it depends on every dog. Some dogs require more physical stimulation while others prefer mental or even just low stimulation. I love to plan fun days for every dog because every one is different. I am open to short walks, longer walks that include hiking or even just playing around in the backyard. When it comes to toys, I know some prefer puzzles and some prefer just a good ole squeaky toy. I would provide toys or use toys that your dog prefers to play with so that they have fun!

Availability
I am currently working only 3 night shifts a week and my husband works from home so there is always someone home with the animals and this also allows me to be free during the day after work as well!
