Pet care experience
Professional, personable, and easy going dog lover. Though I have been the friendly neighborhood dog sitter since my adolescence, my real experience and knowledge comes from the past three years as supervisor of a dog day care and boarding facility. Well established in dog care, feeding, administering medicine, monitoring health, understanding canine social behaviors (and cleaning up lots of poop!) I can engage and entertain a high strung puppy just as easily as I can give a senior dog the gentle care and attention they need.

Lindsay was amazing and took great care of my pup! She sent pictures and updates which eased my anxiety. She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up times when I had flight cancellations! I'll definitely have my dog stay with her again!
We had decided to change sitters because our previous one was taking in too many dogs at once and failing to provide updates. Dixie came home visibly stressed and anxious last time we were away. Lindsay, however, was perfect! She has a ton of experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and dispositions. Drop off and pickup were a breeze, and she didn't miss a beat when I went all helicopter dog-mom before leaving. Excellent communication, updates, and photos! After her stay with Lindsay, Dixie came home content and happy. She was obviously well-loved like she was their own! We will definitely be using Lindsay again and again.

One of my favorite things to do is go hiking. I spent this past summer hiking 1,000 miles through the mountains on the Appalachian Trail- with a dog! So I would be more than pleased to let your dog experience a day hike at a local park with me. I am a very outdoorsy person and am open to any activities your dog already loves, from playing frisbee in the yard to canoeing at the lake. Downtime is great too; I am a pro at cuddles and loving for the less active pooch.
