Hands on care for high energy dogs!

Pet care experience

I have spent the last four summers caring for a wide variety of pets with different physical needs, and I've loved every single one of them! Much of my experience has been with high energy dogs like labs and blue heelers, but I also have experience with more low energy breeds like schnoodles and corgis. I am happy to continue any leash or behavioral training you are working on with your pet, and it's possible that I might love fetch more than they do! I have the transportation (and the excitement) to take your dogs for longer hikes if they need to release energy, but I'm also happy to take your dog for shorter, calmer walks if that's what they feel up to. I will always monitor your dog for any signs of discomfort or stress, and I have experience ensuring that dogs take any necessary medication on a schedule. As a millennial, I'm also uniquely qualified to take as many photos of your pets doing adorable things as you'd like while they are in my care! I am also happy to give your dogs a bath if they find a mud puddle on my watch, or spend some time as a companion if you feel that they need it!

Thanks Lindsay - Murdoch needed a "pick me up" and a friend. Thanks for being there!

This woman is amazing. She is a really genuine and a wonderful person who knows a lot about dogs. She brings her whole self to every assignment and takes it seriously. I have a high energy dog who needs social and physical time. This is one smart woman who knows her stuff and can connect with your "fur baby" on many levels!

Information Lindsay S. would like to know about your pet

I don't have any breed preferences, but please let me know about the activity level your pet needs as well as any medication, specific harnesses, or personality quirks that I would need to be aware of prior to taking care of them! It also helps to know how well socialized your pet is, so I can best plan for any necessary isolation they may need while on walks!

A typical day

I am happy to provide a wide variety of activities for your pets! I love the trails in the Arboretum, Carkeek Park, Magnuson Park, and Ravenna Park as they are easily modified depending on your pets' required activity level. I also love playing fetch, particularly if you have a Chuck-it or similar device for extra long throws! If your dog knows how to swim and owns a life jacket, I'd love to take them stand up paddleboarding in the flat water of Green Lake while the weather permits. I am also more than happy to assist with training specific behaviors or take your pet on larger more intensive day hikes in the Tiger and Cougar Mountain areas as well as within two hours of Seattle itself! For more laid back dogs I'm also happy to simply relax in an indoor or outdoor space with lots of petting (and water and shade!).
