Pet care experience
Growing up, I always had pets around my home. From a docile miniature Dachshund to an excitable (perhaps… crazy?) German Shepherd, I have spent time with and have taken care of dogs of various sizes and personalities! I love both over-excitable pups and older dogs who need extra support and care. In the past, I have spent time volunteering with Mastiffs to Mutts Rescue to transport rescue dogs from their foster homes to their forever homes, so I have experience handling very large dogs! I also have a tortoiseshell cat and grew up with several feline friends and understand the kind of care they need when their favorite humans are away.

Lindsay was great! She stayed at our house for a week and took such good care of our dog. She would take him on walks around the block-even though I told her it wasn’t necessary and we came home to a clean house! I would definitely reach out to her again for our dog sitting needs and appreciate her taking such good care of our pup while we were away.
Lindsay is a very kind person and she loves animals. She's very responsible. Lindsay is an elementary school music teacher. She grew up in a home with cats and dogs. Throughout college Lindsay volunteered transporting rescue dogs.
Pets have an affinity for Lindsay; they are naturally drawn to her and trust her. She has TONS of experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, and ages, as well as cats! Even delivering kittens! She is incredibly responsible and reliable, and I highly recommend her for all your pet needs!
Lindsay is a wonderful caring person who loves all animals. She has walked and taken care of my animals for a few years now and is the kindest person I've ever met. I would highly recommend this young lady for any kind of animal sitting.

A typical day
I love to play with animals, especially energetic dogs! I find it very important to give pets an appropriate outlet for their energy and am willing to spend the time taking them on walks and playing fetch.

Availability
I'm currently an elementary school teacher in Wheeling, so I am available weekday evenings after 5pm throughout the school year. Rover is my summer job, so I am typically available at any time throughout the summer! I am also available on weekends with at least 1-2 days notice. I do sing in a church choir on Sunday mornings and am usually unavailable from 9am-12pm but can easily stop by before or after.
