Pet care experience
NOTE: In-app bookings are higher to cover Rover’s fees. I grew up with dogs. Having helped take care of (and live with) professionally trained German Shepards who served as police canines my entire life, I definitely have a great amount of exposure to dogs. Since moving out of my parents house and graduating from college, I've adopted cats (sadly, my work schedule wasn't ideal for a dog), and have taken care of them since 2006 and 2010. I have helped out friends by pet sitting, by playing Auntie Lindsay day care, and of course by taking their pets for walks. So now I'm looking to bring my experience to more dog families...and of course, get my dog fix! Also, if your dog isn't highly trained, don't worry, I'm very patient and have low expectations.

I highly recommend Lindsay for pet sitting! We have 5 animals, and she did an amazing job with them all. One of our younger pups is new to having a pet sitter, and Lindsay was incredibly patient and gave her the best introductory experience possible. I am so grateful I found her on Rover and hope she’ll sit for us for years to come. She also sent lots of pictures and videos which helped me relax and enjoy my weekend!

It’s helpful to know how long your animals can be left solo (most clients have a 4-6 hour range, which is great!). If there are any anxiety concerns, quirky behavior, special commands, really anything that would be beneficial to make sure they are happy and comfortable with me in their home.
A typical day
Fetch in the yard, walks around the neighborhood, even field trips to dog parks, whatever your pets are down for works for me! For solo pups who like kitties, even field trips to my place are an option (if you are comfortable!).

Availability
Since I work remotely, I have a high degree of flexibility. I’m happy to work from your home, and it’s easiest if you have a spot for me to plug in to a computer monitor. There will be instances where I need to facilitate virtual classes, too, so I may need to run home for 4-5 hours.
