Just me & Moo taking on the world
Pet care experience
I am a RN, but my family always jokes that I should be doing something with animals because I have been an animal lover since the day I can remember. I truly believe that any and all animals are truly the greatest gifts. I have been around them since the day I was born (literally) & have never lived without a pet in the home. I grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, you name it, I grew up with it (or tried to). At a party, pre-COVID, you could find me wherever the dog/cat is. I currently am a cat momma to Moo, who is 5 years old. However, once I have a yard of my own I am hoping to be a momma of a pup or two (I've dreamed of owning German Shepherds). I have house-sat family members and friend's dogs & cats. This is anywhere from pups/kittens in training to elderly dogs/cats. I have worked with giving animals medications (often wrapped in some sort of cheese or treat), as well as giving liquid medication to Moo.
Reviews
Lindsay is amazing!! Everything you’d want in a dog sitter - responsible, flexible, loving, and knows how to have FUN with pups. Overall a genuine animal lover. When I picked Ruby up, I could tell she had an awesome time and had been in great hands. I will definitely use Lindsay again to watch Ruby and highly recommend her to others in the Rover community. Your pups will thank you!
Lindsay is an animal lover through and through. She regularly cares for our 2 dogs and cat when we are away from home for an extended period of time. She is very attentive and intuitive with our fur babies. We trust her in our home to be responsible with our pets as well as respectful of our home. She takes care of our pets and home as if they were her own. I fully would 100% recommend her to care for anyone’s animal and trust her to be responsible and respectful to both the animals and the property.
Lindsay is a true animal lover. She adores her visits with my Golden Retriever, Oliver, and let me tell you, the feeling is very much mutual! He whines with excitement and his tail does not stop wagging when he sees her outside and continues with some kisses when she gets inside! Her visits don’t only make Oliver insanely happy, but they also bring me joy too! She is so loving and cares for all animals as if they are her own.
Lindsay has been such a lifesaver for me and Mabel! She’s always so willing to help, and is extremely flexible when things have come up. Mabel just loves her and you can tell Lindsay has a heart for animals.♥️ Know that she’ll make your pets feel extra loved and special whenever she stops by to help!

I live in apartment so while I do not have a large fenced in yard, the apartment complex has a beautiful fenced dog park for them to let out all their energy. I also live in a great neighborhood for all the walks and sniffs. Although Moo is often afraid/hesitant of other animals, she would not hurt a fly.
Information Lindsay I. would like to know about your pet
I like to have some sort of an idea of a routine for your dog, whether it’s super specific or super simple. Example: what time do they usually get fed, amounts of food, can he/she get treats (if so do they have to be specific), how often do they need to be let out & what’s their typical routine outside when trying to go potty, specific allergies, health concerns to look out for & what are their favorite things & how can I make him/her feel most at ease with me around. This will give me a better idea of how I can properly care for your furry friend.
A typical day
Whatever your dog likes to do, I’m your gal. Whether it’s high-energy from walks, fetch, playing at a dog park or low-energy from belly scratches, snuggles & lots of loving, or somewhere in between, I plan on catering my day to the type of dog that I am caring for. While I may not have specific places that I like to go, there are endless opportunities of trails, dog-friendly parks, etc. that your pup & I can explore together.

I work as a nurse full time and work 12 hour shifts and usually can get a good chunk of time off. I either work 7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am. Sometimes flipping schedules can be tricky, but you get the hang of it after doing it long enough. I am flexible and here to help in whatever I can!
