Pet care experience
We’re a married couple who often pet sit as a team, double the help means double the love for your critters so it always works out great! 🥰🐾 Lindsay has worked at a vet clinic, and had dogs growing up (exposure to some dog training; hunting; firsthand experience caring for puppy through senior dogs). Hans has always had cats and really digs getting to know the dogs we sit. So, we’ve both had animals all our lives and pet sat for years. Oral medication for dogs is no problem and Hans can do cat pilling. We have experience with reactive dogs (prevention/ avoidance are our mottos!). We are attentive to the particular needs of cats (if you have both, your cats will not get lost in the shuffle while we tend to the dogs 😻). We have 2 cats of our own and want to have a dog (or 2🙌) someday! Being pet parents ourselves, our goal is simple = you enjoy your time away, knowing your pets are being well cared for.

Lindsay and Hans have been wonderful - they take special care of my senior girl so she is comfortable at home and give her little sister the exercise and attention she needs to be happy as evidenced by all the great updates and photos I receive while I’m away. It has been a joy knowing my girls are safe and having fun with Lindsay and Hans- putting my mind at ease !❤️
I adore Lindsay and Hans, as do my puppy and two cats. A dynamic duo, they are truly heaven sent, animal whisperer, angels. A few months ago, I was nervous to leave for a trip and thought it would be impossible to find someone to care for my girls. I had JUST rescued a puppy from Baja who was recovering from a tick bourne virus which left her partially blind in one eye. Due to her time in the streets, she was also terrified of cars/traffic, load noises, etc. Even though she had just started her training, she was still a handful (to say the least). I also have a senior cat who requires medication twice a day. With all care required, I never thought I would find someone who would be willing to love them while I was away. That is until I met Lindsay and Hans. Communicative, caring, patient, responsible, kind and loving, they are amazing with my fluffy crew. I’ve booked with them 3 times now for overnights. My puppy, now 10months, adores them and I swear, Han’s is her new BFF. I have never felt so comfortable with a pet sitter and I know whenever I have trip, I can always reach out to Lindsay and Hans and my babies will be loved, cared for, and have a lot of fun while I’m away. They are officially family and I am so grateful for them and all they do!

We try to create a calm, fun, loving environment, almost like an aunt or uncle, so they know they are loved while you’re away! We would learn what you guys’ usual routine is, and work based on that. Reach out to us! We’d love to chat and make a plan to help you out!

Basics-what they eat, any medications they need, any specific routines they’re used to (crate at night, how many walks a day etc) Personality (likes, dislikes, treats etc) Where they are or are not allowed in the house Training (they’ve had or in progress) History and/or triggers (‘Fluffy always goes crazy when she sees a squirrel’, ‘Fido doesn’t get along with other dogs’, ‘One of our cats, Jack, loves belly rubs but the other, Snowball, really isn’t a fan ’, etc) Anything that will help us get to know them and create a great experience for them! *Helpful things for us to know: gate or building codes, wifi password, parking situation, kitchen appliances (toaster? Microwave? Etc) so we know what kind of food to bring Anything you think it would be helpful for us to know ahead of time
A typical day
We’ll plan walks around the neighborhood or parks nearby. Fetch, tug of war, toys (dog and cat versions) cuddling. Let us know they like to do, we’re game for it!

Availability
Lindsay- WFH FT weekdays (👩💻); available nights and weekends (I can often work out of clients’ homes, unless I need my setup at home; regardless I’m not dealing with a long commute👍🐾) Hans-various hours, weekday availability weekly If we’re both available, we usually pet sit as a team. Lindsay’s schedule is more predictable so she usually can ‘hold down the fort’ and Hans will help when he’s not working, so basically there’ll always be one or both of us caring for your pet(s)! Sometimes the Rover calendar gives us trouble with glitches or showing incorrect availability so, reach out and let us know when you need, we’ll let you know if we’re available, chat and make a plan!
