Pet care experience
I have several years of dog-training, pet-sitting, and animal care-taking as well as house-sitting experience. Ask any of my previous clients and you will get top-notch reviews. I am positive, energetic, and understand building trust before asking the dog (or your pet) for anything, but love getting the pups out and about! I work at Virginia Tech and am pursuing a graduate degree, which gives me a mildly flexible schedule. I would like to have the opportunity to care for dogs while the owners are out on trips. Not being able to bring your puppers or kitters with you can be hard, but I have been pet-sitting and dog-sitting non-family dogs for 10 years, which includes dogs staying at my house and me staying at the owner's house. I incorporate a lot of hikes, adventures, and play time for dogs as I know it is important to stimulate them (and lots of pets!!).

Lindsay is such a great find for a dog sitter for us. I have a hyper husky who isn't easily tired. She loves staying with Lindsay. Lindsay is so good about getting the dogs outside running, biking, hiking, or walking depending on their needs. Our dog also loves playing with Lindsay's other dogs. I feels so happy and comfortable leaving our dog with Lindsay! Also I love the pictures she posts for us of our contented husky while we are away. She also has picked up and dropped off our dog for us in downtown Anchorage which has saved us from driving to wasilla which is also so awesome and convenient.
Lindsay did a great job with our dog. Despite him being an escape artist, she was able to meet the most important demand--that he never get loose. Thanks for caring for our furry baby.
