-Bachelors degree in biology with a concentration in animal physiology and behavior -Have been pet sitting on the side for over 16 years -Worked for 8 years in an animal hospital -Former dog trainer -Currently working as a zoo keeper and have been for the last 12 years! I will care for your pets like they are my own. As a zookeeper a big part of my job is ensuring animal safety. I do not have a fenced in yard, yet I live on a quiet street. I use a double entry method to my home. I will make sure your dog is safe and always on leash. I also understand that some people have their hesitations about children in the house. Right now my daughter is an infant. As she gets older I will not tolerate her acting inappropriately around animals. As it is important for a dog to be good around kids, it is equally important for kids to be good around dogs. I will teach her from the moment she starts to crawl how to approach and respect boundaries.

Lindsey was warm, kind and accommodating from the very moment we contacted her. She happens to live nearby so setting up a meet and greet was very convenient. She was very thorough when asking questions about diets, routines, behaviors, etc of both our animals. She provided our pets with a welcoming and comfortable space while we were away. We received updates every day with pictures. She was quick to respond to any messages before and during our trip. I would 100% recommend her services to any owner and would not hesitate to contact her for services in our future.

Lindsay and her husband were wonderful with our pup Lincoln! We were desperate for a last minute, next day sitter and she answered quickly and worked out all the details. Lincoln is only 10 months so lots of puppy energy and antics but he was clearly well taken care of and had a great time, as we could see from all the photos! So thankful we found them and we highly recommend them ! Thank you so much!

A typical day
Lots of petting and loving time. Will take for nice walks around the lake by my house if they are into that. Allowed to sleep with me if that is what they are use to.

Availability
I work full time. I am available to have your pet stay with me for their vacation while you take yours. My husband works 2nd shift at a hospital. So 3pm till 11:30pm. Which means your dog will only be alone from 2pm to 6:30 (when I get home) every day. So lots of outside time and potty breaks!
