Purpose: I am currently a graduate student at UC Santa Barbara pursuing a master's in environmental management and science. Your business contributes to my living and school expenses and is greatly appreciated! Experience: I come with 17 years of experience of cat/dog sitting for neighbors, friends, and other acquaintances. I have cared for a variety pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and health. I have experience administering oral medications, injections and eye drops to senior or injured pets. What sets me apart from other pet sitters and walkers is that I am reliable, honest, and communicative when it comes to your pet's wellbeing. I believe that your pets need undivided attention, love and exercise while their number one person is away. And in return, pet owners should also feel like their companion is in good hands.

Lindsay took great care of our two cats and our fish. She's lovely and responsible and made us both feel very comfortable going away for an extended amount of time. She clearly cares for all animals and provides amazing care. We hope our cats our lucky enough to work with her again in the future!
Lindsay was a wonderful cat sitter! We went out of town for a long weekend and needed someone to stop by once a day and do food, water, and litter for our two cats. Lindsay was on top of the visits and very easy to communicate with. We will absolutely be booking her again next time we need someone to check on our cats, highly recommend!
Lindsay did a great job taking care of our puppy Woody and our home! She was polite, communicative, and respectful, and we would certainly recommend her to anyone needing a dog sitter.

When I am at someone else’s house I always make sure to lock doors, keep floors clean and free of things that pets could reach and eat or destroy. If it is preferable that the dog stay at my house that is an option for short term on a case by case basis. My house is very small.

When meeting new clients and their pets, I think it is important to have a good background on the pet's temperament, behaviors, eating/pooping habits, likes/dislikes, and quirks. Based of their background, I can ensure that I accommodate for their needs and preferences. In my experience this has looked like: not finishing a walk until a poop happens, holding a tighter leash, crossing the street to avoid a specific neighbor dog that doesn't get along with yours, or telling kids not to touch your dog for safety reasons.
A typical day
I am new to Santa Barbara, so I am open to any recommended walks or dog parks. I love to get outside and have a vehicle.
