Elder Dogs Need Extra Love
Pet care experience
A house does not feel like a home without a dog. Senior and special needs dogs are my specialty as I am an empath and naturally make animals feel loved. I know from experience, that a pet’s twilight years can be the hardest to ensure their care to others. I am patient, loving and compassionate. I understand special needs and am able to provide the care each animals needs.

Lindsay is a wonderful dog and house sitter! Very conscientious and great with my two very different dogs (3 yrs and 16 yrs old). My dogs were very comfortable with her immediately and she gave me great updates throughout the stay. Highly recommend!
Lindsay did outstanding work, house sitting and taking care of our dog while we were away for several days. She wrote and followed a detailed Care Plan, and sent regular updates and photos. We were delighted with her service, and we felt at ease with her.
Lindsay was great with our old girl! She was well taken care of while we were gone. She also took great care of our home and left it cleaner than when we left. We'll definitely use her again.

I am able to adapt my schedule to the needs of each dog. I would care for yours as I would care for my own. In the twilight years of my dog’s life, there were very few people I would trust to provide her with the love and understanding I did. This made it very difficult to leave or travel without constant worry.

I would much prefer to meet your dog(s) with you there for the first time, for the animal’s sake. So they can learn my smell and know I am there to care for them. This feels especially important for senior and special needs animals.
A typical day
I have my favorite walking loops in my own neighborhood, but would love to provide consistency for your pet and take them on their regular walking route near their homes. We can go to an off-leash area if that is part of their routine. My dogs always loved and needed cuddles so providing that comes naturally.

Availability
I am working remotely and am able to be home most of the day, if necessary. I enjoy walks and fresh air as much as I love snuggles and cuddles.
